SportCycle Reverse Trike Plans Built Design
sportcycle.info - SportCycle motorcycle-based Reverse Trike designed by Jim Musser. As a mechanical engineer and having driven many miles in a Sportcycle (both on the road and track), I can assure you that there is no tendency to compress the suspension in a turn (unless you are on a banked course in which case a four wheel vehicle would have the same tendency). There is a weight transfer to the outside wheel, but it is offset by the same reduction of weight on the inside. Since the suspension is tied together, it will not move. This design was intended to give infinite roll stiffness since body lean is undesirable in a three wheel vehicle. The design works quite well and the handling is great.
