This is my shot at a reverse trike, I call it the Tryker.  It's a Honda Accord front wheel drive with a Yamaha Virago 1100cc motorcycle engine.  Does everything you say and much more!  Nothing touches it in the corners, I leave crotch rockets in the dust on a mountain road.  The ultimate rush to drive.  This is one off, hand-built, one of a kind trike, not a kit.

Attaching the motor to the axle is quite an engineering feat but it works superb with a series of sprockets and a chain.  Making the adjustment mechanism was the real trick.  The clutch, gears, and transmission are all in their original position therefore it is a 5 speed ratchet shift on the floor.  It is registered as a 1974 Honda motorcycle because that was the original motor used, it has since had a 1983 Yamaha Virago 920 and now the 1100.

Engineering and design began in 1983 in Santa Barbara California by an engineer who built 4 cars in his lifetime.  The Tryker ended up in a garage in New Jersey for 17 years where I found it and did a total restoration and re-engineering using current technologies.  It is a one piece frame and the entire body is aircraft aluminum.  The "silver" looking portions on the body are actually areas of the aluminum that have been polished.  The exhaust system and front and rear bumpers are made of polished 1.5" and 2" 301 stainless pipe.  The range is approximately 225 miles and 55 to 65 mph is a comfortable cruising speed.  Submitted by Tom Carmody, Banning, California.
